Nepenthes SS15 ‘My Grand Tour’ Editorial

It’s no surprise that the team at Nepenthes has assembled another winning editorial highlighting a selection of spring/summer items from the likes of Needles, South2West8 and Engineered Garments. This editorial provides solid inspiration for dressing in hotter weather with fits that manage to work in a variety of pieces from top Japanese labels. The looks here styled by Naoki Ikeda capture the feeling of exploring the Japanese countryside and offer a textbook example of how conversation pieces can be toned down and made to be easily wearable. If you’re into any of the brands mentioned above , do yourself a favor and click through to see the rest of the editorial.

Haven Undercover SS15 Editorial

Undercover has been hard to find in North America until the last couple of years. One of the stores leading the charge in bringing cult Japanese labels to a global audience has been Haven. The team there put together this latest editorial using pieces from the Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

Undercover x Supreme in SENSE Magazine

The April 2015 issue of SENSE contains an editorial showing of the new collaborative gear between Supreme and Undercover modeled by Jason Dill. Among the items shown include a Schott Perfecto Leather , hoodies, jeans, t-shirts and a trench coat along with shoes and accessories (shoutout to that ‘bear pillow’)

There’s been leaked photos of what looks like  low-top canvas sneakers and a trucker hat. It seems that production is handled by Supreme as the prices are much more in-line with the NY-based label’s usual pricing as opposed to Undercover’s mainline prices. It’ll be undoubtedly difficult to get hands on some of this gear but if you love something from the collection, going directly to the supreme webshop is the best bet.

Third Looks Editorial ‘Projections’ feat. EYES&SINS

This editorial was the result of a collaborative effort between Third Looks and EYES & SINS. As I’ve previously noted, EYES & SINS is a brand which relies on a potent graphical narrative with each collection (also reflected in every pixel of their web presence – from the interactive website to promotional animated shorts on social media).

Billy Fischer pieced together these moving images from various EYES & SINS pieces modeled over a contrasting projection of visuals from past  DWMS events (by Note PTP) to further delineate the brand’s graphical cyber-militaria design approach.

Third Looks x PTP ‘Wifey’ Crewneck

Third Looks teams up with PTP (Purple Tape Pedigree) for our second collaborative effort. On the heels of the TLxPTP ‘Pill’ Hood comes the more reverse weave goodness in the form of the new ‘Wifey’ hoody. Taking inspiration from the one and only Kiko Mizuahara; actress, model and dream wifey for countless humans on this planet.

The crewnecks are printed on heavyweight reverse weave Champion® sweatshirts and also feature subtle logo details on the sleeve and back. Profess your love for Kiko and all that’s good in the universe. Head over to PTP shop to secure one before they sell out for good.

Models: Jacques Greene, Note PTP, Geng Grizzly, Isabel Lasala
