Jun Takahashi’s Undercover once again turns to film for inspiration, this time adopting images from Akira Kurosawa’s 1957 interpretation of Macbeth – Throne of Blood. Fumito Ganryu x Solmon XT-4 Sneaker

 

Solomon continues to expand their collaborative offerings , this time in the form of a X$-4 sneakers. Initial shown in his FW20 lookbook, these sneakers channel both Solomon’s technical expertise as well as Ganryu’s appreciation of subtlety.  The XT-4 has been around since 2012 and has since become gained a cult following among Solomon fans. This new offering presents a black upper and a white sole unit, with tactile rope laces sitting on top and Salomon’s proprietary contragrip outsole. The black colorway of the shoe has a carbon fiber effect through the bonded trim, while the black and yellow version adds a mustard trim of color.
