Air Max 98 Tour Yellow & Gundam

Nike made a splash with the return of the Air Max 98 in 2016. The release of OG color ways as well as three colors for the collab they did with Supreme showed that there was a market out there for faithful recreations of the shoe. Now in 2018, Nike is releasing two great colors in celebration of the shoe’s 20th anniversary. First off is the tour yellow version pictured above and a bright blue/red released nicknamed “Gundam” which you can see after the jump. These look like they’ve kept true to the originals in terms of materials and should appeal to the segment of their consumer base who prefers faithful recreations to new iterations on the style using modern tech. I’m all for the 98 coming back and it’s looking like this year will net even more versions of the sneaker later in the year. Look for both these sneakers to drop at Nike retailers after Jan 17.

Adidas Triple EQT Support ADV

adidas will be releasing a clean EQT Support ADV in white and grey. The upper of the adidas EQT Support ADV Mid has a white knit upper with grey details around the heel. The shoe’s look is complemented with the standard 3 stripe branding and a white sole.  While it’s only been released as a low top in the past, this is actually a new mid version of the sneaker that deviates from the  standard EQT Support ADV silhouette. This new colorway will hit  adidas and other retailers in April.

Nike Vapormax Plus TN

The Air Max TN is one of my all-time favorite Nikes and I’m really looking forward to Nike’s latest hybrid based on the sneaker. It’s paired this time with a Vapormax sole which ends up as a surprisingly good match for the upper. The upper has been styled in the look of an Air Max Plus, but it’s been remixed with modern materials and production tech. It’s rumored that these will release next year around Air Max day but there’s already plenty of leaks in terms of what we can expect in terms of color ways. Some of the models dropping include a triple black and triple white version, cool grey, as well as a multi-colored gradient version. My personal favorites might be the above Olive color way that gives off a slimy-looking iridescent green. These are certainly already on my radar and a pretty much a must-cop for me. Look for them to drop at Nike Lab retailers next year and click through for more photos.

Update – END has announced that they are releasing the triple black color way of these on Jan 25, so look for them to appear at other Nike retailers around that date as well.

Fans of the original ACRONYM x Nike Lunar Force will be happy to see that the latest iteration of the sneaker is getting a wider release. The shoe first appeared as part of Nike’s AF100 initiative and now the sneaker is set to release in the same all-white color scheme on December 3 on the Nike SNKRS app. As users have had trouble with the app over recent releases, I’ll be sure to update the post if other stockists are announced. More pics of the sneaker after the jump.
