Reject modernity and the tyranny of 5″ inseam shorts and embrace tradition. These Bode shorts are inspired by 20th century collegiate shorts. While corduroy isn’t usually a summer material, these give off a cozy feel with a cut that’s designed with comfort in mind. The handpainted stone archway graphic is a final tasteful touch that sets these apart from past season items from the brand.

Peak summer season is here and if you want shorts that will be as comfortable as Patagonia Baggies look no further than this model from Arc’Teryx. The Arc’Teryx Aptin short is a trail short using the Fortius™ DW 1.0 double weave fabric which delivers performance four-way stretch and has a DWR finish to help shed moisture. The inseam hits just above the knee and the shorts even have laminated hems which minimize irritation.
These shorts from Stone Island use their signature nylon metal material that gives a metallic sheen to the fabric. These simple shorts come in a light “rose quartz” color way and features the familiar woven compass patch. For some reason it’s really hard to find shorts that look good and are comfortable, these check those boxes and they are water resistant to boot. You can find these over on END.
