In particular many of the pieces focus around the HAL supercomputer that stars as the main villain of the film . A standout piece from the collection is this insane down jacket that has a helmet hood design complete with a see-through visor.  Other details include raglan shoulders, syncopated contrast white panelling, “Undercover Astronautics Agency” emblem patch,  and a “HAL9000” reference patch from Space Odyssey, side zipped pockets, interior mesh pouch, zipped phone pocket at sleeve, cuff straps, straight hem, tonal stitching. The Nike Vandal is an under appreciated classic hi-top model. The sneaker has attracted the attention of Raf Simons in the past, with the designer putting out his own take on the style in the past. Great to see that Nike is bringing some classic color ways of the sneaker including a Black/Metallic Gold version and a shoe that features University Red/Metallic Silver . Even better the shoe brings back the classic nylon upper and pairs it with a simple white midsole unit.  Expect these to hit store shelves on August 8 at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Nordstroms at a retail of $99USD.

The Clarks Wallabee is a classic shiloette that usually comes without many frills. Ghostface Kilah’s favorite shoe gets a special collaboration by way of BEAMS. The Tokyo based department store upgrades the suede upper with  a Vibram Christo sole. If that wasn’t enough the inner is lined with GORE-TEX for weather and water resistance. All in all this collaboration just makes me wish this model would be more universally available.

The shoes are available for pre-order on BEAMS’s website for ¥31,320 JPY (about $280 USD).

ACRONYM has released several new items from their SS18 collection today. Among the products are several jackets, 2 pairs of pants and  a re-stock of the s21-DS jersey hoodie. Several brand new models are appearing for the first time ever including the new P30 pant which comes in both Dryskin and CH fabrics. Based on BDU cargo pants, the P30 is an ultrawide 3/4 length zero-resistance utility pant that features articulated knees, and an updated integrated beltless fully-adjustable waistband. Fans of wider silohuettes from ACR will likely welcome this model into their wardrobe. Another new entrant is the J59TS-CH which is a TECSYS compatible loose bomber style jacket.  Cavernous detached entry and internal chest pockets are the highlight of this piece along with  the more relaxed shape of the garment. For a more minimal approach, the J69-GT is self-described by ACR as a jacket that you wear like a biker jacket but that has absolutely nothing to do with biker jackets. This style is finished with a new convertible-style collar. Explore the entire selection over the on ACRNM website or wait for the release on stockists including END which should be releasing items soon.
