ACRONYM x Nike Presto Mid Collection

The Presto was a incremental step forward in Nike design and 2016 saw it’s return in the form of countless retros. The team at ACRONYM got their hands on the Nike Presto Mid and made it something altogether different. The collection of three colorways of Presto mids is set to release this week after a limited Berlin release and selling out on ACRNM’s webstop. Each model features a functional medial zipper and heel pull tab  with a snap detail. The three colorways include a tonal bamboo/black model, a olive/black version and a eye-popping volt/lava version.

The hype on these is very real so you’ll want to keep posted on the Nike Lab website and other stockists for release info.

UPDATE – The confirmed release day is September 15. Confirmed retailers that will carry these online include END, Haven, Tres Bien, BAIT, Kith, Back Door Bottega, Slam Jam Socialism, Sneakersnstuff, Shoe Gallery, Wellgosh and BDGA.

Nike Zoom Air Spiridon White/Wolf Grey

The Nike Zoom Air Spiridon is a source of  great nostalgia for sneaker fans. The original colorways of the sneaker were iconic and have finally been retroed this year more than a decade after their original 1997 release. If the OG colors are a bit too garish for your current style, this clean white and wolf grey pair is a nice alternative.

Available now at KITH and Nike.

Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit

In more sneaker news, Nike put out a new take on the Mercurial model, this time using white flyknit and combining it with the famous Spiridon sole. OG Spiridon themselves are being brought back soon as a retro but these have a decidedly sci-fi feel with the all white color-way. Might be a little difficult to keep these clean for long given the colorway, but you can scoop em now for $200 at Nike.

NikeLab ACG Lupinek Flyknit Low

The ACG Lupinek first made an appearance last winter in the form of a snowboot. The design has been tweaked and now will be releasing as a low-cut sneaker. Distinctive elements of the original design made thier way over in the translation: the VAC-TECH mud guard, Phylon midsole and a perforated tongue really help this sneaker stand out. Available in two stylish flyknit treatments – dark grey and grey/white, look for the Lupinek to release online and at select Nike Lab outlets. The only downside of the shoe is it’s hefty $275USD pricepoint.
