Last night was the opening reception for photographer Jonathan Mannion’s exhibition at Milk Studios ‘Rough around the Edges’. The photos from the show were all shot on the now discontinued Poloroid 665 Film and Poloroid 195 land camera. Printing with the Polaroid 665 film includes the a negative which gives off the the appearances of “rough edges” on each shot. This was aesthetic that Jonathan loved and the collection of street photography and portraits of some of the biggest names in hip-hop of the last twenty years.
RROUGH AROUND THE EDGES: the 665 Polaroid Work of Jonathan Mannion runs at Milk Studios Gallery through to July 7th.
