Nike Gyakusou FW16 Collection

It’s hard to believe that Nike Lab and Jun Takahashi of Undercover have been collaborating on their line of running apparel Gyakusou for over six years. Through the process, the collection has continually evolved drawing from both Nike technology and Jun Takahashi’s punk sensibilities. While I felt the last few seasons have been lackluster, Gyaksou returns in fine form this year. The line features an fantastic color palette for fall and even sees a return of the infamous UC Giz print. The above video gives insight into the design process and great cropped views of the gear in motion.

Included are new items including a water-resistant LunarEpic Flyknit trainer, Aeroloft down jackets with removable sleeves.  Launching November 10th online and at select NikeLab stockists online such as END and Dover St Market.

The collection is now available at Nike Lab.

Supreme x Undercover FW16 Loobook and Collection

Undercover returns this season for a second round of collaborations with Supreme. The line this year is even more expansive than last years selection. The typical selection of branded typographic graphics is back along with some suprises (a doc martin boot, supreme GILApple and a reversible bomber). Graphic zip and pullover hoodies, tees, an all over coaches jacke,  bondage pant and a wool coat are some of the other options available this time around.  While the fit and production looks to come from Supreme, expect the line to sell out immediately regardless. Personally I think this collection is a step up from last years, and I have a feeling we might see this become a yearly thing similar to the CdG x Supreme capsules. Whether it’s worth the resell pricing or the hassle is up to you.

The collection will be available at Supreme’s in-store locations in New York, Los Angles, London, Paris, as well as its online store from September 22. Japan will see a September 24 launch date.

Yesterday say not just the release of the ACRONYM x Nike Presto Mids, but also the unveiling of the collection itself. The German based techwear pioneers present a strong array of pieces for the colder weather months. Outerwear wise two designs really steal the show in my opinion; the J43A-GT and the J53TS-GT. These two … Read more

If you want something versatile that you can work to work and on vacation, it’s hard to beat Nanamica.

Sasquatchfabrix FW16 Collection Lookbook

Sasquatchfabrix. has has spent the past year raising it’s brand profile. The brand activity included a capsule with beams and a hyped up Supreme collab. Despite all these ventures, Sasquatchfabrix gets down to the roots of their style with this collection. The clothing is equal parts recreations of historic Japanese garments with modernized fits and styling. We see this combination in the creative reinterpretations of kimonos. Other key items from the fall range are the bomber jackets, padded trousers and long draped coats.
