Fans of Guerrilla Group’s offerings have been patiently waiting for the latest EYES&SINS collection from the collective. The FW16 collection is here and entitled THE SLEƎPER. The collection takes inspiration from a little known cold war Soviet clandestine operation explained on their site. The actual pieces themselves once again extend the mix of techwear and militarism we’ve gotten to know. Some of the more interesting pieces including  beefed up winter noragi and also a technical apron piece similar to what you might see welder’s use.

While a couple pieces have been spotted on the site for sale, expect the entire collection to be available later tonight on the GFIRMG site.

Frequent visitors to this site are probably familiar with some of the past collections from Eyes & Sins.  The team deliver a new lookbook for the warmer spring/summer months. For Spring/Summer 2016, some feudal Japanese influences make their way into the mix and this is manifested in the incredible noragi-style jacket shown above. The line brings back some popular styles like the cargo pant and tactical vest in new  fabrications. The styling and layering are top notch as usual and this stands as one of the best collections to date that the Guerrilla Group collective has brought out.

Select pieces from SS16 are already available on their website.

Not one to rest on their laurels, Guerilla Group presents a new editorial for their fall/winter collection entitled ‘Simulacrum’. The moody photos by Runaway Heroes zero in on the detailing and fit of the pieces. The presentation in the editorial is very cinematic and includes items such as the 15F-ES-JC01 coat and the 15F-ES-JJ01 bomber. Re-visit the collection in detail on their official site.

The Guerrilla Group collective quieted released new gear this past weekend under the Eyes & Sins imprint.  The items comprise the first wave of their FW15/16 collection. One of the items released that caught my eye is this twisted take on a men’s crewneck. A slightly jarring asymmetric design combines black cotton with olive ECOYA nylon for a technical upgrade to a standard crewneck. Multiple pockets and compartments allow you to carry goods on your person while still having an easy to wear and comfortable garment. Get the Displacement Vest here and check out the other new releases on the GG site.

This editorial was the result of a collaborative effort between Third Looks and EYES & SINS. As I’ve previously noted, EYES & SINS is a brand which relies on a potent graphical narrative with each collection (also reflected in every pixel of their web presence – from the interactive website to promotional animated shorts on social media).

Billy Fischer pieced together these moving images from various EYES & SINS pieces modeled over a contrasting projection of visuals from past  DWMS events (by Note PTP) to further delineate the brand’s graphical cyber-militaria design approach.

After a brief quiet spell, EYES & SINS returns with an immaculate outerwear line ‘PROTOTYPE-ZERO / 零式’.
The small range is a logical evolution from the graphic tees released in the past. The line once again draws inspiration from military items, utilizing details such as buckles/fasteners and multifunctional compartments that contribute to both the form and functionality of the garments.

This is an impressive first foray into more elaborate items from the GFIRMG family. The 「14F-ES-JM01」RE-REPRODUCTION 01 BOMBER (see the Third Looks Best MA-1 Feature) has some great details including Articular sleeves, darting/stitching details and numberous functional zippers and pockets that should help users carry around daily essentials. Also of note is the 「14F-ES-AV01」ENGRAM MULTI-CHAMBER
which operates as a vest with multiple Pockets / compartments.

Three of the items are available now online with more to drop soon. Looking forward to seeing more on the trench and pants in the collection personally. I’m excited to see the GFIRMG team transition from leather goods to graphic tees and now a full fledged cohesive collection.

I stumbled across this short video clip highlighting the Y-3 Qasa sneaker. The Qasa is one of the standout sneaker releases of 2014 and this visual really places it in a well-matched urban environment.   Gear from Acronym, Arc’teryx Veilance, and EYES & SINS is paired with the Y-3s. If you’re looking for this sneaker, the Adidas Y-3 site should have a restock soon.

The video was shot and edited by Ryan Sheppard and Waley Gao and features music by Evian Christ.

The shadowy multi-national team at GFIRMG (also known as Guerrilla Group)  have been busy at work on the second collection of EYES&SINS. They’ve been teasing the arrival of new product  through social media channels and they’ve put out  their latest video communication ‘OUTER SCALE /OCULAR & LIGHT. This short clip provides further intel on what you can expect in the new batch of graphic tees.

「EYE 10」PURITY

「EYE 9」EXTERNAL GRAPH POCKET TEE

「EYE 11」LOUDER THAN SILENCE

The graphic tees now come in revised boxier cut and continue to evolve the cyber militaristic  aesthetic of past seasons. As always the visual presentation is top notch through and through (from the presentation of the website to the tags on tees)  . The collection includes 8 new designs (6 tees and 2 tank tops) and is available through the GG store.
