Cara Delevingne in Interview Magazine

Cara Delevingne exists at the perfect center point between 2013 bad bitch and 1960’s French New Wave cinema muse. Late last year Cara was named as the model of the year at the British Fashion Awards and she has become a mainstay on billboards and runways the world over. Known not just for her unmistakable features but also for her quirky, engaging personality Interview Magazine has put out some of my personal favorite images of Cara to date.

There’s some not so work safe images after the jump so take heed if your company’s HR department has a policy against art tits.

MUNSOO KWON FW13 Collection

Korean designer MUNSON KWON has been designing for several seasons now but his Fall/Winter 2013 is by far the strongest I’ve seen from him. Based around the ‘Lost Boys-eque’ idea of being a kidult, the collection merges popular culture from the 80s-90s (through which many of us grew up) and tailored menswear. An assortment of duffle coats, varsity jackets, beanies and cardigans are given a playful edge through the use of pattern (polka-dots) and colorful details (such as the toggles on the duffle coat).

South Korea is emerging as a powerful force in men’s fashion and I’m excited to see if brands like Munsoo will be able to break into western markets.

DISCOVERED FW13 Runway Tokyo

DISCOVERED is a Japanese brand which has existed since 2001. Designed by Tatsuya Kimura and Sanae Yoshida, the brand began by creating order-made clothes for musicians, DJs, actors, and other artists. For the Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Yoshida and Kimura looked to the art of King Krule art and British subculture as reference points.  I recently have become very enamored with quality knits and this collection has them in droves (from short sleeve sweaters to color-blocked cableknit styles). Traditional English looks are given additional flavor through use of color-blocking and layering. There are touches of ‘chav style’ worked into the collection , most noticeably with the Burberry style nova-check pattern featured on several jackets and accessories. The collection comes in practical color palette of beiges, tans, whites which can be mixed into your wardrobe quite easily. I’ve selected my personal favorite looks from the collection which you can see after the jump.
